Pastor Jones' prayer
partner group consists of a group of men and women of
our church who have committed themselves to pray
for the pastors, staff, and membership of North
Rome Church of God. Any man or woman who is saved, Holy
Spirit-filled, and a member of the church, can
qualify to be included in this program.
What do prayer partners do?
Prayer during the service: The prayer partners
are divided into groups and are scheduled monthly
to be available during a specific time during
each worship service to pray for needs that the
congregation might have.
Intercessory prayer during the service: The also
rotate and will spend the entire service, whether
early or morning worship, in intercessory prayer
for the pastor and the direction and results of
the service that morning.
Our prayer
partners also assist in praying for anyone who
might need prayer in the altar area. The pastor
will call for them to attend the altar service
and they will personally minister to each person
actively seeking help from God.
Our prayer partners must be trained in the proper way to pray
for someone as well. If you have questions regarding this
