North Rome strongly believes in reaching out to our community
with the love of Jesus Christ. Most of our ministries in our
church have an outreach built into them, allowing each group to
reach out and touch their world. We annually reach out to our
community through back-to-school assistance, through financial
assistance to community assistance organizations, through
volunteering for community organizations such as the Rome Day
Reporting Center, a last chance rehabilitation program for
people with drug convictions, and Serenity, another
rehabilitation program that many of our church members believe
in strongly. We take our song and our message weekly to the
community via radio broadcast and periodically minister in song
in our community mall and park.

North Rome Church of God is a local church with a global mission
of reaching all people groups with the message of God's saving
love. We send lay missionaries out yearly with the mission of
ministering in many different ways to people all over the world.
We primarily offer three types of lay-involved short-term
mission trips: building, medical and evangelistic.
Building trips consist of going into a city, village or jungle
and continuing an ongoing project, or beginning a new project.
These projects include the construction of churches, educational
facilities, seminaries, Bible schools, orphanages and various
other construction projects.
Medical trips consist of going into a city, village or jungle
and setting up a short-term medical clinic for the area.
North Rome Missions is always looking for assistance in aiding
our medical teams with medications and antibiotics. If you might
could help, please call us at 706-291-6687. This trip is open to
all those who have a medical background. We also offer a few
slots each trip for evangelistic team members to provide
counseling and salvation opportunities.
Evangelistic trips consist of going into a city, village or
jungle and providing teaching, preaching, children's crusades,
men and women's ministries, outreach ministries, street
evangelism, and drama. Usually several churches might host the
team, or there are no churches and the team might go into the
area to start a church.
Anyone
wishing to give toward any trip can donate to a team member or
mail the money to the church. Please see the Contact page for
address information.
