The North Rome Christian Learning Center
extends a warm welcome to you and your
child. Established in January 1993 as a
licensed, Christian Child Care Center, we
strive daily to teach a Bible based
curriculum, to instill Christian values,
and to reach children for the Kingdom of
God.
At
NRCLC, we offer 3K, 4K and 5K education
Monday through Friday. The A Beka
curriculum is used for all classes along
with the teachers' many art, craft and
cooking projects they have accumulated
throughout their years of teaching.
The 3K curriculum includes language arts
skills such as: recognition of name,
sound and picture, language development
and listening skills, simple number
counting 1-30, number concepts 1-15, and
Bible lessons such as the miracles of
Jesus, the Creation, Noah and the Ark,
and Bible songs.
The 4K and 5K curriculum includes
language arts skills such as: phonics,
reading, poetry, writing, language
development, color, words, shapes,
manners, and science. Also covered are
numbers largest and smallest 1-20,
addition facts 1+1 through 9+1,
recognition 1-100, Bible songs, Bible
scripture memorization and lessons from
the Bible on subjects such as The Good
Samaritan and Zaccheus.
The children are treated to their own
chapel service each week with North Rome
Church of God's children's pastor, Rev. G.
David Cooper. Each Friday is an adventure
into Bible land, with surprises from the
Bible and the treasure box.
The Learning Center is also open Monday
through Friday for child care for ages
one (must be able to walk) through seven
years. Each room is divided into "learning
centers" with home living, library,
manipulative, construction, art and more.
Nutritious breakfast snacks, lunches, and
afternoon snacks are served daily. The
Center is open year-round, except for
major holidays such as Christmas. Other
closing times will be announced as
necessary.
